1. through 15, this was our birthday lunch at Casual by Paco Perez, Das Stue, Berlin, Germany, April 2015, as one of us had birthday during our stay at this gorgeous design hotel, As expected design was a big and beautiful theme at this "casual" restaurant which carries on the tradition of beautiful Spanish cuisine but in a more casual style. It's the sister of 5 by Paco Perez which is also located at Das Stue and has 1* Michelin star. Nevertheless Casual is a beautiful restaurant with good service and wonderful Spanish cuisine plus it adds design, setting and a sense of place to the menu. As you can see from our images we took during our lunch at this beautiful and memorable restaurant it's all about exciting all our senses with the right amount of presentation, quality, colors, lines, setting and expectation. It was memorable and yes, we hope to eat here again and yes, we would want to stay at Das Stue in our future again in Berlin. Enjoy.
1. through 15, a fascinating location by Tiergarten, an intriguing heritage as the former Royal Danish Embassy, a fully restored present which glides towards a modern future as Das Stue in Berlin. Here it's clear that hospitality finds a new home, it's luxury, but it's playful too, it's service, it's a sense of individuality in the true sense of the word. A hotel full of intricacies, full of intellect all coupled with an understanding that the guest is looking for something different from the norm, something more meaningful in a hotel which is a member of Design Hotels, this alone should spark our interested and opens our horizons towards a tune which is played so full in harmony between here/now and future/hospitality. 1. through 10, as for us, Das Stue was pure inspiration, it's design, it's beautiful harmony, it's a luxury hotel with a flourish of an art gallery, an exploration of hospitality through a "different lens". A Berlin landmark located in the former Royal Danish Embassy, a symbiosis of strong lines and playful surprises, here to stay is to "move in" and "experience" a different side of luxury and hospitality. Yes, we would want to stay again at this wonderful member of Design Hotels in our future. Enjoy.
1. through 10, our Embassy Room at Das Stue was equipped with a beautiful and modern bathroom, as expected from this hotel which is a member of Design Hotels. Here the design and functionality go hand in hand to create a harmony of well being and luxury at this gorgeous bathroom. We found a separate shower, a freestanding bathtub, Floris bathroom amenities, a separate toilet room, lots of towels, a beautiful sink space with memorable and thoughtful details and amenities, the space was light, airy and offered superb daylight flooding in this bathroom in our Embassy Room at Das Stue. One word, beautiful. Enjoy.
