Holiday Inn, Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK / 10/2014 : Our Observations : Exterior and Details [4] UPDATE: As of September 2015, this hotel is now known as the Clayton Hotel, Belfast, part of the Dalata Group, the restaurant is now simply called "The Restaurant".

1. through 15, we liked the details of the Holiday Inn, Belfast, Northern Ireland celebrating local culture and connecting us to the location, plus we enjoyed the facade which was commanding and the location opposite the stately BBC Northern Ireland House was simply sublime for our purposes on this visit. From the interesting art, the textures, the photos and details, this was a very successful concept IMHO. It's now only important that the hotel looks to renovate in their future incl. making up and modernize their public spaces, giving them more light and bringing in a delightful new restaurant and inviting bar areas, which are lacking right now, but with the existing art and getting a feel what the hotel could be and having stayed in their Executive Rooms it shows they're going into the right direction as long they modernize the Holiday Inn and bringing it into the 21st century Belfast where it belongs. Of course this will have to be paired with a more superior service standard too. Enjoy.
