1. through 10, after our visit to the world-famous Jim Thompson House nearby we thought about getting a drink at the Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel, here we found not only respite and our refreshments, no here we found modern design, a 9th floor lobby bar with attached Terrace in a beautiful, yet simple and uncomplicated style. We enjoyed our freshly made Coconut smoothies and shared a bottle of Minere water at the Lobby bar which was well furnished and after our little pause we equally enjoyed a visit to the attached terrace on the 9th floor which offered some fascinating views from the surrounding area. Ideal after visiting the Jim Thompson House and catching the BTS at the National Stadium Station. Enjoy.
1. through 10, we visited for a quick drink the modern Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand in July 2014 at their 9th floor Lobby Bar and Terrace, also of note is that this modern hotel shares actually the building with the Ibis Hotel which is located on the lower floors of the complex, but both have their very own entrances and personalities we found out. As we experienced during our short visit here that some magnificient views can be had from their 9th floor terrace, plus details in the lobby make the hotel very unique, despite it's a compact lobby, check-in and Bar. We felt well, the hotel is located near the Jim Thompson House and the National Stadium BTS Station in the heart of Bangkok. Enjoy.
1. through 20, during our stay at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand in July 2014 we explored this gorgeous landmark and enjoyed the magnificent atmosphere, details and setting at nearly every turn here. A beautiful hotel, a meetingpoint, more than a "place to sleep", it's all about living in the heart of Bangkok. We would love to stay at this gorgeous hotel again in our future, the hotel is now part of Anantara Hotels and was re-flagged as the Anantara Siam Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, Enjoy and safe travels to the land of smiles. Now we look forward to see/feel the hotel to evolve under Anantara. Enjoy.
1. through 10, during our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand in July 2014 we loved to explore this gorgeous hotel, especially the walkways, the courtyards and the flowers which all added the exotic feeling of being in the Far East, a true classic, a grand hotel to stay at, to explore at, to enjoy for a few privileged days, now the hotel was re-flagged again, it's now know as the Anantara Siam Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, but we shouldn't forget that this particular hotel started life as The Peninsula Hotel, than it was re-flagged as The Regent, when Four Seasons bought Regent Hotels they re-flagged this property to be a Four Seasons Hotel, now it's Anantara who operates the hotel, we hope that we will stay at this beautiful hotel again in our future and looking forward how the hotel evolves under the Anantara brand.
