1. through 10, We love the atrium of the Hilton Hotel, London-Gatwick, LGW, it makes a first good impression, fascinating design features incl. an island bar / restaurant set-up and looking up we found equally fascinating designed "huge" lamp shades and red latterns, an interesting concept. The Hilton Honors line was staffed, which is nice, we had received good recognition as "Golds" and we loved our upgrade to an Executive Room with Club Lounge Access with incl. Happy Hour, Internet Access and complimentary breakfast and all-day drinks in the Lounge. Well done Hilton LGW. We would recommend this hotel especially before / after a flight from LGW. We would stay again in our future righ there at the Hilton Hotel, London-Gatwick, LGW. Oh yes, we also love the romantic posters in the atrium which depict the grand days of aviation, that's another reminder that travel, hotels and the beautiful of discovery belong together.
1. through 10, overall the Executive Lounge offerings were solid and enjoyable, we loved the idea of fine glass of red wine with dinner, plus the choices are on the healthier side in the evenings, breakfast was as expected, but the bananas were too ripe and not enjoyable in the morning, the coffee was good, the cheese and eggs were good too, plus the bakering items on offer were solid too. It's good when Club Lounge access is included, a good space, seatings were available when we visited for dinner and breakfast, but the fresh fruit selection could be a notch or even two notches better on both settings, for breakfast and dinner alike.
1. through 10, we enjoyed the bathroom here at the Hilton Hotel, London-Gatwick, the bathroom was very clean, as expected from a Hilton, we loved that there was a shower cubicle and a bathtub, plus Peter Thomas Roth bathroom amenities, they're of high quality and very enjoyable. Overall, the bathroom complimented the Executive Room with Club Loung Access very well. We would recommend this room type, when staying at the Hilton Hotel, London Gatwick Airport, LGW, before / after a flight.
1. through 10, our Executive Room with Club Loung Access at the Hilton Hotel, London-Gatwick, LGW, was modern, not only this the room was also located in the "modern" wing, which felt very different from the more "classic" main wing of the hotel, we enjoyed our room, but the pillows on the bed should be more firm, they didn't offer any good support during the night while sleeping, plus the WIFI should be equally been able to be available 24/7 especially in this day and age were many people want to be connected or have to be connected, as said earlier, the Club Lounge while large was not well stocked in regards to quality, this should be changed in due time to a higher standard in terms of offerings. Overall, this hotel remains still a good choice when flying to / from London Gatwick Airport. Our room was fresh and modern which is what we liked most about our stay here.
1. through 10, our Executive Room with Club Lounge Access at the Hilton Hotel, London Gatwick Airport, LGW was modern and offered all the amenities we would expect from a Hilton Airport hotel incl. double bed, modern table, comfortable sofa chair with ottoman, plus free water and a good bathroom too, the only gripes incl. weaker than expected Executive Lounge offerings and weak / not working WIFI access, but this issues aside, it's a good hotel especially when staying before or after a flight at London Gatwick Airport.
