1. through 5, As we walked from the Banyan Tree Hotel Bangkok / in which we stayed for 2 nights / along Sathorn Road, at first we noted the Evergreen Laurel Hotel, walked further towards the Chong Nonsi BTS Station and we found ourselves at the Sathorn Square development which also includes the W Hotel Bangkok, a beautiful modern tower, connected to the Chong Nonsi BTS station via walking bridges, a curvy, modern and fascinating tower, but there's also the heritage former Russian Embassy which is integrated into the W Hotel's grounds, an event space today, they both stand in harmony to each other other, paying respect to very different points in time, fully restored the former Embassy, a wonderful contrast to the modern towers surrounding this area in Bangkok.
